Brake Pedal Configuration

There are 4 PU Elastomers in the Kit.

  • 1 x Green Elastomer 80 Shore A
  • 2 x Yellow Elastomers 90 Shore A
  • 1 X Red Elastomer 95 Shore A

***Important***Elastomers are rated for certain load ratings and will burst upon exceeding the rated load. For a long life of the elastomer please stick with the provided max brake pedal force for each configuration. The included a PVC cup performs 2 tasks, prevents the softer elastomer from deforming beyond spec and increasing the progressiveness of the brake.

DO NOT USE THE GREEN ELASTOMER WITHOUT THE PVC CUP

IN EACH SETTING THE SOFTER ELASTOMER SITS INSIDE THE CUP ALWAYS

There are 6 possible Configurations with the 4 provided Elastomers.

  1. Soft-long-Progressive (Max 65 KG, 65%DIView): PVC Cup + Green + Yellow
  2. Soft-short-Progressive (Max 65 KG, 65%DIView): PVC Cup + Green + Red
  3. Medium-long-linear (Max 65 KG, 65%DIView): Yellow + Yellow (No PVC cup)
  4. Medium-short-linear (Max 65 KG, 65%DIView): Yellow + red (No PVC cup)
  5. Medium-Long-Progressive (Max 80 KG, 80%DIView): PVC Cup + Yellow + Yellow
  6. Hard-Short-Progressive (Max 91 KG, 91%DIView): PVC Cup + Yellow + Red

We recommend to start with the hardest setting to figure out how much force you can apply comfortably and then use a softer setting accordingly.

Throttle Pedal Setup

The throttle pedal Stiffness and Travel can be adjusted.

Travel: The standoff marked green can be moved a couple of millimeters forwards and backwards to adjust the max travel of the pedal. Travel Range: 39mm - 53mm

Preload: Depending on the max travel setting, preload can be added buy moving the red marked self locking nut.

  1. When using max travel, please apply no preload to the spring (distance between self locking and thin m6 nut max 1mm)
  2. When using min travel, max preload can be used (distance between self locking and thin m6 nut max 8mm)
  3. For a mid value, scale accordingly. e.g. travel of 45mm, distance 5mm

***Important*** Please refer to the allowed preload settings for the travel max positions. If a high preload setting is used in combination with max travel, the spring will deform permanently
